• Drone Surveys & Inspections: We may use drone technology to safely survey your roof. The findings of these surveys will inform our estimates.
• Acceptance: A contract for the work is only formed once you have formally accepted our quote and we have agreed on a commencement date.
• Variations: If unforeseen issues arise once work has commenced (e.g., hidden structural damage, rotten timbers), we will halt work and discuss the necessary additional costs with you before proceeding.

5. Pricing and Payment

• All prices are subject to VAT at the current UK rate, unless explicitly stated otherwise.

• Material warranties are held directly with the manufacturer.
• Our guarantee does not cover damage caused by subsequent extreme weather, subsequent third-party interference, or lack of standard maintenance.

8. Limitation of Liability

• We carry full Public Liability Insurance.
• Aberdeen Slaters will not be liable for any indirect, special, or consequential loss or damage arising out of or in connection with the services provided, except where such liability cannot be excluded by law (such as death or personal injury caused by our negligence).
• We cannot be held responsible for delays to work caused by adverse weather conditions, material shortages, or other events beyond our reasonable control (Force Majeure).
